Professor Yukiko Nakano is an associate professor in the Department of Computer and Information Science at Seikei University, Japan, and leading the Intelligent User Interface Laboratory. She received her M.S. in Media Arts and Sciences from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Ph.D. in Information Science and Technology from the University of Tokyo. In the research field of Conversational Agents, she has been working on many national and international projects including the collaboration with European universities.

Dr. Hung-Hsuan Huang is a postdoctoral researcher of Seikei University since 2009. Before that, he graduated from the department of computer science of National Chengchi University, Taiwan in 1998 and obtained his MSc in engineering from National Taiwan University in 2000. After the two- year military service as a political warfare director of an army company, he came to Japan and obtained his PhD in informatics from Kyoto University in 2009. His main research interests are on applied artificial intelligence and human-computer interaction including embodied conversational agent, intelligent software agent, and information visualization.
Afia Akhter Lipiis Research Assistant at Intelligent Interface Lab of Seikei University since April 2009. Before that, she obtained her MSc. in Engineering from Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology in 2009. Her main research interests include Embodied conversational agent, cultural computing, and enculturating non-verbal communicative behaviour.
